i was truely bored last night so i started re-reading fanfic, and i read the one you wrote that was for Eb for her birthday like 3 years ago, off of the PL universe, and i laughed so hard i cried! and i definately needed that so thank you for rocking my socks :)
I finally got a bra that fits! *dead of shock* I had to order it from Figleaves, because nobody sells my size, but I GOT one. Actually, I got two--black and beige. *cheers and yays*
Why does everyone love the LUSH so? I do not understand. (In part, I suppose, because I haven't ordered from them...). What's a good scent thingie to start with?
You need to go into a store and smell each one until you find your true love. Mine is "Angel's Delight" soap, which only comes at Christmas and smells like jelly babies and makes you smell like jelly babies ALL DAY LONG.
You know, I'm all cynical and nasty and I own 24980948109 horror films, but when I'm unhappy and want comfort I watch Charlie's Angels (the film one with Drew Barrymore and co).
*is totally random but wants to share* So, while driving home - it was weird rains and sun out and as I made a turn onto a road and driving up to a light - low and behold there was this huge rainbow across the sky! It was rather large and I was just all O_O and oooooo pretty! Then I pulled into the parking lot nearby to take a picture but it was starting to fade and didn't do it justice but oooooo! I've never seen one like huge across the sky before. :) *hugs yous*
The Lion, the Lion, he dwells in the Waste, He has a big head and a very small waist; But his shoulders are stark, and his jaws they are grim, And a good little child will not play with him.
The Tiger
The tiger, on the other hand, Is kittenish and mild, And makes a pretty playfellow For any little child. And mothers of large families (Who claim to common sense) Will find a tiger well repays The trouble and expense.
Hahahaha! I have not seen those in years. Have you ever seen the nonsense poem about getting a Hippo for your children? It is in a book I've had since I was a child.
Another invasion on my part, primarily because I'm the youngest patient at my kidney stone doctor. My sister, who works @ Mayo Clinic, recently sent me a piece of medical data saying lemonade (made w/ real lemons) should help your body process calcium better, thereby reducing stone instances. This in addition to staying hydrated but not indulging frequently in tea, coffee, or cola products.
- A tip from she who's had 6 known instances since age 21...
Oh :) And I'll friend you for the moment in the interest of self-disclosure so you don't wonder who the heck I am and what I'm about. My personal posts mainly are flocked -- those that are any indication of what I'm about, anyway. Friend back if you like; if not, no worries!
And I don't know you, so therefore sorta don't know your sense of humor, but are you a madTV fan? If so, go to youtube.com and watch some Lorraine videos. (to find them, I'd type in "MadTV, Lorraine") She's delectable.
Well, my husband thought it would be nice for me to listen to the classical music channel on the cable and they had someone playing a jaw harp so right now I am sort of freaked out by sounds.
Ice cream! Everyone likes ice cream, right? What's your favourite kind? (Mint chocolate chip is up there, along with any sorts that have coffee nad chocolate).
Also, yay Lush :D I didn't know that you were a fan. I adore Smitten and Ocean Salt and their Honey Trap lip balm and various other things that are yummy. Which makes me think - long baths are always comforting, maybe you could have one? Or a long shower, if you prefer. With lots of pretty scented things.
Slightly disturbing, but at least not wanky. Guaranteed to draw a chuckle, even if 'tis a dry one. Umm...I only recently learnt that Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen. :o
