You know I've stood by people in this fandom because I thought I could trust them. I thought they were my friends. And they shit on me.

I kept my original pre-enlightment post with a lovely strike through it because although I've been misled, lied to and occasion occasionally a first class bitch I DON"T FUCKING LIE TO PEOPLE OR ABOUT THEM. And I take responsibility when I shit the bed. I don't smear shit on someone nearby and point at them.


So there is oooooooold wank being muck raked. I have pretty much retreated to the edge of this fandom because I don't have time for crap like this and because it is not worth the energy it takes to deal with it. For me. Everyone else can do whatever they like, obviously. I like things both very salty and very spicy--not everyone else does and I wouldn't expect them to.

But because I've been asked here is my official info:

I was on the first fandom_scruples blacklist. My reaction? So much laughing.

The rest of it? The whole Loui aka fermatojam is a stalker and Ms. Scribe had to give up her job. Even if I had the old emails, I'm not sure what an old email would prove? Because all that info could have been easily faked. The info I had I believed to be real.

I don't have the old emails now. They were on my old yahoo account which has been wiped clean. And my old work account which is also long gone.

I'm surprised to see apologies and other weirdness and people feeling they need to defend any of this ancient history... But again see tastes differ thing above. People acted stupidly on all sides. Right now you should just let it go. If it amuses people to rake up this shit and read it like some kind of fandom history, well, who cares?

Frankly the fact that an IP address is matched to a post doesn't mean much because it is pretty easy to fake an IP so that lj logs your anon posts or sockpuppet posts as, say, some you don't like and want to fuck with. That was Louis's MO. He did that. He said he did that to AngieJ. He said he did it to Ms.Scribe.

How do I know that? He posted that that was what he did. I remember being skeptical and then googling it to see if it was possibly and it turns out that it was if you had some knowledge. Also, I was in charge of security for Nimbus 2003. I had his full name, home addess, and actual IP. I believed he was a real person with a grudge and a serious lack of mental balance. I checked every single Nimbus regsistration for him and two other person non grata. He had threatened to show up at Nimbus in Orlando and cause problems. Empty threats or perhaps he thought it was too expensive just to go and give someone a hard time.

I guess that won't sway anyone who wants to just wank or he needs some kind of DNA evidence to be convinced. All I've got is what I remember. And my memory is pretty good, but frankly I've wanted to forget all this crap. But that isn't really why I am posting this. I've been poked by several people for back up. And I just don't have anything solid.

I don't owe anyone any apologies. And I have no idea why this shit is being raked up again. Unless it has fossilized and is now pretty pretty geodes. I guess if you're new to fandom or dislike certain people this is all good fun for you. Cheers. Drink up. or er, Lube up?

doesn't part of you want to know, once and for all, that these allegations are completely false? I mean, if someone did provide evidence that Dionne hadn't fictionalized the account of Louis that she gave you, you'd want to see that, right?

I think there's a fine line between defending your friendships and sticking your head in the sand and pretending like nothing's wrong. And I'm absolutely not criticizing you for your defense of Dionne. You're a good friend and it does you credit, and I wouldn't expect anything but support from you, from Jo, Clio, et cetera.

I just wish that there were more people among her friends insisting that evidence be found to clear her name. Because it would have to be a relief to everyone involved. This way, won't a part of you just keep wondering if maybe she really did lie to you? Because I know I'd wonder. And god, that would suck. :|

I just think there ought to be a lot more soulsearching going on here, from all of us, than there seems to be. I'm afraid that sounds preachy, which is the last thing I want to be.

But that's why I really, really wish someone would step forward and effectively refute these posts. Because then I wouldn't have to wonder if I spent those whole 2 years being caught up in what, if this story is true, was a blind willingness to disregard the truth at the expense of maintaining peace and harmony, and the collective reputation of my group of friends.

I just spoke with her about this and I believe that she did not lie to me about Louis. She did not lie about Louis at all. That is my only real involvement in the whole thing I think. There is a real police report with his real info on it from when he hacked into her home computer.

The rest of it? I don't know. But I am suspicious of Angua's and Tartanboxers' stories too. I just don't think we'll ever know the full truth and I think the pendulum swing over to the GT love is just as weird as the swing away from Dionne. I think there are a lot of wrong people in this, a lot of bad things were done and said. And I don't know who did what for the most part. A few things I do know and I am not going to talk about. Because they do no involve me. And I am not for or against anyone in this whole mess. Except me.

I don't really care anymore. I don't believe or disbelieve any of it anymore except the bit about the dude from Dayton being real and being fermatojam. If I've been lied to, I don't know it. And I will take it to my grave.

I have no idea what to think. Certainly the evidence is awfully comprehensive, though hell if I can sort through it to figure out which end is up.
